About us

CEFA aims to provide cost effective services particularly to small events with limited budgets, although it is happy to consider any event requiring first aid services. In doing this, it also aims to provide a pool of well trained and experienced first-aiders, and equipment, available to assist in community emergencies.

CEFA first-aiders all have current HLTAID003 (“level 2”) qualifications, most have in addition HLTAID007 (“advanced resuscitation”) and many have additional qualifications as well.

All CEFA first aiders are volunteers – their training and uniforms are supplied, and simple expenses reimbursed, but they receive no payment for their time. The fees charged cover these expenses and keeping equipment and supplies up to date.
